PES D is just a temporary PES to show that your son has gone thorugh medical checkup but has some medical problem that the MO is unable to give a confirm PES immediately. Normally PES D last for 3 months or so and there should be instructions for him to go down again at a later date or to go somewhere for some checkup etc.Originally posted by ORIGAMIST:My son went for check up and is rated Pes "D" .... what does this mean ? Anyone can help?
PES E are for people with major health problems and will be normally assign as clerks or storeman depending on their problems. PES E people will go tekong for a 5 day induction programme before posting to unit to serve their 2 years. After that PES E people will ROD and will not be called up for reservist.Originally posted by ORIGAMIST:oh ?.... I thought he don't have to go BMT or something like that ... so at the next medical review, he will know his status ? By the way, there is Pes E and F, what are they ???

Diabetes can range between c2-F depending how serious is your case. But Cancer most likely F.Originally posted by maggot:If got diabetes or cancer?
What pes?
Got friends like that so askOriginally posted by tarutaru:Diabetes can range between c2-F depending how serious is your case. But Cancer most likely F.
Btw don't think it's good to get F for such illness, if like that most likely the MO is telling you go home wait till you die.
Got any specialist letter etc to backup the problem? I don't really think will have great effect on PES, just drink more water and in tekong you are made to drink ALOT of it.Originally posted by noahnoah:if can get dehydration problem easily
due to great loss of water
wat pes status
it might be due to the defect of what brain problemOriginally posted by dkcx:Got any specialist letter etc to backup the problem? I don't really think will have great effect on PES, just drink more water and in tekong you are made to drink ALOT of it.
Typical of the army isn't it???Originally posted by Father Lim:pes d is sort of status unknown...
i knew of one case where the serviceman was pes D until about 3-4 months before he ord when they upgraded him to pes c and sent him to bmt...
he ord immediately after he completed his ns liability...
Get a specialist letter and highlight this when you go for your medical checkup. If its as bad as what you say, might be able to get a PES E but thats just my opinion.Originally posted by noahnoah:it might be due to the defect of what brain problem
or kidney problem
If go without water for half an hour or a hour
will be a danger sign
of dehydration no need to depend on the weather is hot or waht
This condition warrants a discharge from the SAF.Originally posted by noahnoah:it might be due to the defect of what brain problem
