My son went for check up and is rated Pes "D" .... what does this mean ? Anyone can help?

PES D is just a temporary PES to show that your son has gone thorugh medical checkup but has some medical problem that the MO is unable to give a confirm PES immediately. oh ?.... I thought he don't have to go BMT or something like that ... so at the next medical review, he will know his status ? By the way, there is Pes E and F, what are they ???

PES E are for people with major health problems and will be normally assign as clerks or storeman depending on their problems. PES E people will go tekong for a 5 day induction programme before posting to unit to serve their 2 years. PES F are for people who totally cannot serve at all like the disabled, people with mental problems etc -

PES F: HIV positive, 1 leg, 1 arm, etc. -

Btw don't think it's good to get F for such illness, if like that most likely the MO is telling you go home wait till you die. -

pes d is sort of status unknown...
i knew of one case where the serviceman was pes D until about 3-4 months before he ord when they upgraded him to pes c and sent him to bmt...
he ord immediately after he completed his ns liability... -

PES D nothing uh...just the army wants to double check on your son's medical status with an outside opinion
i was PES D for a month because of Suspected Kerataconus....due to record-breaking astigmatism..
after being blinded at TTSH for a day....turned out nothing wrong...
but okla...free eye check...hehehe......was told that my opticians tested my eye wrongly -

I'm not sure what warrents a PES F so i don't want to suggest it to lift hopes.

i think certain civil charges would warrant a discharge from the army, correct me if i'm wrong.

Servicemen diagnozed mental problem will likely get PES C or E depending on the severity of the problem. they need to go thru range in which this is dangerous. They should be excused range during their modified BMT no matter how light is their condition. -
pes D is temp status. u can just wait for the letter to come.
pes c got many kinds of problems, maybe broke an arm or leg jus 1-2 years prior to enlistment. slight mental problem like depression or anxiety disorder, OCD or tourettes syndrome. flat footed or past case of serious asthma too.
pes e r those with serious health problem like maybe lesser 2 fingers on 1 arm, 1 long arm 1 short arm, 1 ear deaf, diabetes, more serious mental cases.
self declare gay also can go to either pes c, e or f. my fren is pes f. i know of someone who is pes c and another pes e. think it depends on how womanly u r?
pes f are those with super serious problems, short of 1 arm, cancer, super crazy fella(seen 1 from pes c downgrade to pes f). -

One recruit once asked me whether its true that getting circumcised is 2 weeks attend C, then also ask if I (just covering medic...) can do or must see MO...
Fortunately I never have anyone ask me to remove testicles. Crazy people. -
