SAF Formation/ Vocation Badges on Uniform Number 4

Hi,
I got a question to ask;
a) The formation patch sew on which side of the arm?
b) The vocation patch sew on which side of the collar?
It's been half a decade since I wore my green uniform, now they ask me go back reservist...totally clueless about these patches.
Can anyone help? Thank you in advance.. -

i was given these patches during my briefing last year...did jot down the location on a piece of paper...but forgotten where i put liao...
anyway, where can buy webbing arh? how much it costs? my shoulder strap totally gone...the webbing metal connector rusted then eat up the cotton strap of the shoulder starp..now my webbing become like strapless bra...jialat! -

buy webbings?.. no need laa... go ICT with ur old one.. then ask ur S4 or CQ for any spare webbings... -

Unit Patch (3 Div, 6 Div, 9 Div etc.) (large circular or rectangular patch depending on unit, has unit insignia) sown on right sleeve above rank (if u r a WOSE)

errmmm...maybe i sew 1 uniform...test water, darn expensive sia...1 dollar for each patch...
$1 for singapore patch
$1 for unit patch
$1 for vocation patch
$1.5 take out rank and re-sew coz my rank too high, no space to sew on the unit patch..
altogether $4.5 per shirt... -

wah lao...need to go beach road and sew these things? sibei far leh...besides, where got time to do all these? on top of that, now petrol $2 per litre...can claim mileage from SAF or not? hahahaha...
it's good enough i put effort to find out where to put these things...
was intending to send it to one of the seamstress shops below my block..then she ask me, where to sew? that's why i post here...hahaha! -

just went for my first reservist after like more than half a decade...
first time never mind one... we go back say "got new uniform issit!!! , we dun know anything wor"
act blur... then csm say next year must put on correctly...
so this yr just bua long long no rank, no badges cos just kit exchange...
then walk around the base like big shot...
btw, i'm in the air force, so might not apply to you... -

Lanjiao la , no need siao on la knn ....... My first ict also , Oc briefing , say next ict all must have this stupid patches on , The next ict i think less then two hand full , did the patch thing , the rest all f care..... but noting happen leh , 3 low 1 high key liao

Wah, now so "on" ah? Throughout the '90s, only the KAHs, officers & a few diehards wore their ranks in my outfit. Even the 3SGs didn't bother after some time.
Not being rebellious or bo-chap, to clarify. It's more cuz reservists stay outfield much longer than active troops, possibly for more than a week. Whenever we changed No.4s -- particularly the borrowed uniforms our QM/RQ managed to requisition -- who cares about donning rank, or nametags for that matter, if they can't be fastened?
At least, nametags could be velcroed in the old days &, of course, officers have their epaulettes. Ultimately, the KAHs ended up wearing their ranks sewn onto those cloth chinagraph holders (worn on the biceps). Guess it was a cumulative improvision among many units over time, cuz they were bought/donated & kept in the CQ stores for each unit ICT.
Thus, how to wear the new patches? Safety pins? -
