  Yeah, infantry I can respect; their RSMs can be damn strict. Dramatized so often in those TV shows (both fiction & reenactments) some more. At the AOH, those guides at the BCTC Village also showed me where the Enciks would line up the infantrymen, to check on their haircut, bearing & equipment.
  
  Every unit, I suppose, will emphasize this during each inprocessing. But what happens afterwards, once out into the field? What if the spare uniforms don't have ranks & badges -- do their wearers get charged? I seldom get to meet SIR troops during reservist but the one time we did, as a unit, was in ROC when everyone wore the same Temasek greens, untucked & "unranked" (except for officers).

  I know of some reservists who die die don't wanna sew on the new patches cus they wanna show that they are lao jiaos. So they take pride in wearing a half-phuck uniform and swagger around the canteen in their sloppy uniform. Really a disgrace.
