Confusing IPPT Situation *URGENT*

  So here is my problem.
  
  Back in April, I passed my IPPT during BSLC in SISPEC.
  
  However, soon after, I went out-of-course due to a torn hand ligament.
  
  Then late June, I was posted to my current unit.
  
  Until September, I was on status for the hand injury.
  
  Late September, I went for an operation for piles then have been given MC till now (endorsed by the MO).
  
  Now, the problem arises here. I discovered today that the IPPT I have taken during my BSLC does not count. However, my window closes next Thursday (the 13th of December), and most likely, I will not be back in camp during that period.
  
  So the question is, if I am / was on status throughout April ~ December 2007, does that excuse me from having to take an IPPT during my "window?"

  You are NSF miss window also not a big problem what, not like NSman will kanna charge etc for missing IPPT.
  
  Your unit should know your medical excuse and will schedule you for IPPT when you can take it. Active time IPPT was the least of my worries.

  So you're saying I don't need to worry about it?
  
  I thought it was like an offense if you didn't take IPPT during your window. And I was worried that my current unit wouldn't have record of my ligament injury from my SISPEC days...

  Its an offense for NSman but not NSF since you are in unit and its up to the unit to plan your IPPT etc. If you are not eligible for IPPT, your unit knows it and if you are eligible but miss it, its your unit's problem since they didn't schedule you for 1.

  Yup. The window only applies for NSMen.

  if u're on status, u'll not be penalized for not taking IPPT.

  If you have lost your status sheet, please go to the Medical Center and request your MO to give you another.
