  if u undergo bmt in an infantry unit will u be posted to scout platoon in ur own unit or juz be rifleman?

  That's right. The big bet's on you remaining a rifleman for the rest of your NS, although there are remote possibilities to be posted to other departments in the event of medical or manpower issues.

  The whole point of the mono-intake was that you would stay in your unit from the start to the end of your NSF life...so unless something special happened during your bmt or you are super outstanding, you will remain in the infantry. Why do you wanna go recce?

  infantry unit support coy also got scouts what so i juz wanna noe if u have bmt in infantry unit then will u selected for scouts training then posted there. i guess onli rifleman huh..

  I wear jungle hat. My OC used to say we can use our combat helmet as flowerpots.

  The chances of being posted to SP Coy if u r mono-intake of their BMT is slim but still possible. I'm frm SP coy of a infantry unit but i'm frm BMTC and i've seen quite a few posted to my coy after their mono-intake BMT. Voice out to ur PC abt ur hopes of being posted to SP Coy. U can be posted to any platoon in SP except signals as they r frm signal institute.

  but mainly.. the fella will just be a rifleman also... in the SP coy..... no special skills....
  
  they dun wan to waste time send ppl to SMI or SI or drving schs just to train u... where there are so many more from BMTC....

  The possibility is there.. I'm from SP coy and quite a no. of men are from mono-intake. Of cos majority is still from BMTC. Just voice out your preferences.

  they usually take those A level dudes. If you're really interested, reasonably fit and you're not too thick up there, talk to your pc.
