the csm ask for push up, he say excuse ul
jumping jets, excuse ll
crunches, excuse duno what.
in the end the csm scold cb eveyrthing also cannot do, and ask him throw rubbish bag. -

Was damned fed up with my CSM for throwing fatigue and ammo party saikang duties at me when I was running a high fever and nausea while out of course then.
The MO laughed and said "This excuse should give u some amusement" Well, that CSM turned red when I told him that I'm excused all that for the next three days.
He was left with a bumbling chap from China who spoke no English, and another fella who claimed he was excused mental stress. -

I got a friend formerly from 1SIR and he said its fill with school dropouts, gangsters etc.
Arbuthen? But there's also the old stereotype, lah. Nowadays the majority have at least N levels, ever since VITB became purely post-secondary & their technical students switched to the Normal Stream. The dropout rate is very low now, about 3-5% only.
There's always a few pai kia in every mono intake, but more teenage street-corner types, lah. They'd feared BMT (& confinement!) as much as the other recruits. I had a few in the Arty batch I taught in '88, & it was surprising who turned out to be the real criminal later on. One was fully-tattooed & turned up at CMPB with an incredibly-gelled yellow mane -- really nervous when he ended up in my section -- except he turned out to be a pushover. Another was a incorrigible loudmouth, whining all the time -- but the most rebellious he got was sneaking cigarette breaks after lights out, or walking with his No.4 unbuttoned after bookout. It was the latter's buddy-deputy, your classic 2IC type & quite leery during BMT, whom I found out in the newspapers a few years later to have been jailed for running a pirated-VCD ring!
There were all types in my batch: N Levels, O Levels, ITE, proper apprentices, ex-dropout menial laborers & illegal peddlers (copy watch, sir?) as well as some rich men's sons. Really a motley crew. -

just got through reading this damn thread!
you guys have been providing him with advices (some very sensible and logical ones), but the stupid AhJun was fending off every single helpful comments thrown at his way until finally, this thread reached a grand length of 10+ pages.
it's quite strange that, although we continue to advice him to sound out to the PC, OO, OC (or whoever would listen) and if it still doesn't work, consult his MO, he comes up with 100 more additional worries about his medical condition. (not to mention replying to every comments made about him with continued emphasis put on his "GAD" and "i cant help it" crap)
it's normal that you are full of worries before enlisting. I couldn't sleep at night starting from 2 weeks after my letter arrived. And I can also accept that his conditon causes him to worry about everything constantly.
But why the hell does he have to ask us a question, then reject whatever advices and opinions we offer him, then RETURN HERE to launch off another online sparring session regarding himself?
if he's so concerend, and at a loss of what to do, he should just shut the hell up and do what we say. we've all gone through (or are going through) what he has only JUST BEGAN to go through, and are offering insights from personal experences. And if that's not good enough for him, then I say screw AhJun.
he's fully aware that his condition will not be cured through individual effort, yet he still goes on to reject external (though online) assistances. Well, I can only say one thing. If the advices don't suit you, then just don't come back here. Don't bother to post crap about requiring help if you are not going to accept them.
christ, this guy was annoying... I just had to get my frustrations out...

hmm i am back. i went to the MO for medical review liao...showed the appt card..medicine i having now..etc etc and the MO say will arrange appt to saf psychiatrist and send letters to sgt,pc,oc etc. but now still no news..haiz.
and erm..my csm say those asthmatic pple..childhood asthma..long time ago or what haf to get inhalers. BUT my asthma us lower pri sch time and now recover liao. then the csm want us to get 2 inhalers somemore. haiz..what shld i do i scared he scold me until jialat jialat. i also cnt go buy cos nid doc prescription. i die liao lah fucking shit. -
