Hey you are a LRRP so that is good enough> I cant confirm that story about the guy who went for Ranger twice but if there was such thing then he has got to be a Cdo officer who borderline passed the first time and wanted to prove something for himself.Originally posted by Gedanken:I think it's fair to say that Ninja's been around the block.
I'm still quite annoyed that I missed my shot at Ranger - my company was supposed to be the pioneer NS Ranger batch and I put my hand up for it, but apparently they held it off till the next year because of some paperwork buggeration.
He had the red tab already, and then they sent him for the US course. It's a pity because he really could have gone places if he stayed in IMHO.Originally posted by Short Ninja:Ged,your Pl Sgt must have been a blue eye boy to be sent to the US on his first contract....maybe I know him but he should have stayed a bit longer get his local Ranger and think about it cuz that is a real waste.
Aiyah, garang mah! Seriously, if I'd gone and passed I would have signed on. As it turns out, I went ti uni and ended up in Australia. Such is fate.Originally posted by Short Ninja:Hey you are a LRRP so that is good enough> I cant confirm that story about the guy who went for Ranger twice but if there was such thing then he has got to be a Cdo officer who borderline passed the first time and wanted to prove something for himself.

You can be an Nsf when you sign up for the selection but once selected you need to sign on.Originally posted by wonderamazement:When you sign up you have to be a regular at that point in time?
