so it's said i need to bring back all the stuff i got in BMT, so i made a list.
if i missed out anything, pls do tolong, thanks

2 x pt shorts

1 x sandals
1 x SAF towel
1 x LBV
1 x helmet
1 x boots
1 x kiwi set
1 x orange cloth
1 x garters(pair)
3 x green socks
2 x white socks
1 x mess tin
1 x fork & spoon
1 x water canteen
1 x black tape
1 x notepad
1 x pen
1 x black marker
3 x hangers
i will be wearing a smart 4 with jockey cap, so can i leave a set of no.4 at home? or do i bring all to unit?
the reason leaving one set at home is for standby when i come home incase uniforms cant dry/wash in time.

How many no. 4 you decide to bring is up to you and depending on whether you plan to do laundry in camp and how many days you plan to wear each set of no. 4. -
Relac lah, bro. BMT is over! Won't get tekan like those days anymore, unless you're in OCS.
If it's course time, life can still be quite regimented there so just bring down the whole barang you'd finished BMT with.
Unit life itself is quite senang by comparison. You'll get regular nights off even if it's stay in, so plenty of time to top up your stuff & try out new things (like cooking Maggi Mee with a heating coil ~lol~). -

Bring everything, even LBV and helmet cause the course commander will definitely volunteer his trainees for guard duties. So expect a lot of guard duties on top of your medic course hence the need for LBV and helmet.
The regimentation in medic course is very strict. Just bring everything to be safe. -

hopefully after the medic course, then re-bmt immed after that, POST BACK TO TEKONG ISLAND... u noe y... i tell u why...
first, it's ur wish... tekong medical centre is 24hr, got helicopter landing pad 1... if not wrong, under hq bmtc, still under infantry/9div formation.
2nd, tekong medics on main duty per day is like 7, unlike other medical centre is 2, due to the recruits number.
3rd, tekong medics if kena weekend duty, heard is from friday last thru sunday (72hrs shift, some breaks in between but no book out as no ferry... haha), whereby other medical centre is 24 hrs shift even on weekend, and some lucky medics get the office hrs medical centre (stay out)
4th) tekong medics got lots of outfields and medical covers duties, y... got bmt fieldcamps... and the new camp built by the combat engineers.. dunno what name... -

lol he has a Coy medic like me....good luck liao....alice pack SOCs.....middle of the night turn outs just for medics...IV sessions every friday morning....no need to cover also... cos i will do the covering so he need to take part in the exercises....
no need to dream anymore also about signing on...signing on as a medic i specs evern tougher than signing on as an infantry spec due to the amount of paperwork....backstabbing u will get....so if u want to commit suicide early...go on ahead -
Nee soon not that slack anymore mayb except for MDC and band. The rest of the units there all super gungho. The engineers and ADF guys running around the camp is a common sight. NDU trainees will intimidate u.....they may not look like much....but they sure are freaky....
CDO...very good camaraderie....their version of BMC is thought by their own cadre i think...i mean..thats wat i saw arh when i was there on course 2 years ago.... -

The first time we report to unit on friday(not a 5 day week then), only brought ourself and say that the school did not inform us... we slacked at the bunk till 5 and book out and report back on sunday night with all the barangs...
imagine that we brought our stuffs, we will be stuck there for one more night... -
