name tag issue

i was issued my 5 sets of uniform and i changed all of them due to size difference. i changed from M to L. So, of cos all name tags removed. the logistic pple gave me 2 new uniforms without name tag FIRST and they got the rest. After some time, i got 3 of the new uniforms bac WITH name tag. So i am left with 2 nameless uniform. A couple of days ago, we were told to give 1 set of nameless uniform to the CQ and write our name on the white tape and pasted on the nametag area. I asked the CQ why can onli give 1 set( as i have 2 sets nameless) then the CQ said dunno. Then now is like i still have 1 set of uniform haven get back and 1 set of nameless uniform with me. Very wasting time leh..everytime inspection is like my section mates will have to follow me put 2 sets of uniform on top becos i have 1 uniform short. somemore still got 1 more uniform haven settle. haiz what shld i do?

when u change all 5 of yr uniforms... the logistic people are suppose to remove all 5 nametags from the old set and give it to u for safekeeping. how long did u wait to hav the 3 sets of uniforms given back to u? u shd talk to yr cq immediately about what happened... tell him that the 2 nametags are with them. if they are lost then u hav no choice but to make 2 more outside yrself. wat coy are u from?

oh so u lost them.. then u hav to make it outside. no choice. don't listen to yr sect com... his evil idea won't work at all. collect yr uniform back from yr cq asap and go down beach road to make the nametags... tampines also got one shop.
the logistic people are not stupid... they keep records so u can't bluff yr way through. everyone is entitled to 5 nametags only... no more no less. unless they willing to close one eye and make for u (rarely)... anyway it's yr fault that u lost them.. so to avoid wasting more time please get it done outside! -

haiz... i was from the logistics branch in tekong during my NS days (orded jus a few mths back). i know the system inside out... like i said if they are willing to close one eye (don't count on it) u are jus very lucky. but most likely u will get back yr uniform with no nametag.

it is because the tailor will come inside tekong to sew the uniforms... the nametags are from the store in mainland... they send in the nametags then pass over to the tailor... then the tailor will look at the white tapes and match the names accordingly... at least this is how it works few mths back.
don't be surprise by the waiting time... the process is super slow one. if u lucky 2 weeks can get back. if not then up to a month or more is pretty normal.
therefore the best thing for u to do is to ask yr cq take back yr uniform first. it should still be somewhere on the island. then go get them done outside. one wkend can settle yr problem liao. -

my camp which is mandai hill camp got a tailor shop leh...haiz i dunno what to do now i am confused and worried. sometimes i see the CQ there also cnt go find him cos under training then when i want to find him he not there..haiz

Get the nametags done for those two sets first.
Personally, I never trust the unit to get it done faster than myself. -
