  My unit enciks....no joke. 8 years ago I witnessed a private telling his encik "Wait, let me explain...." during an F session. I scurried out of the room. No points for guessing how much TNT went off. It was.....tragic. Many people were traumatized.

  minor infractions like going awol for a weekend may get you a week's DB ... but I don't think it'll be a permanent stain on you .... nor should it be ....
  
  there are some senior SAF officers who's been charged previously also .... it's not a career death knell .....
