  let me be more specific. i know can enlist for NS early at like before 16. But no, what i want is to go into NS straight away after graduation from poly. possible or not?

  Yes, can enlist early under the VEES scheme (Voluntary Early Enlistment Scheme). At least 16½ years in age & must obtain parents' permission.

  my friend poly student got into the march bmt intake which is like the earliest for a poly student.
  
  going for your medical checkup early would be key i guess.
  
  but it might also backfire and send u to the dec/jan intake which will be during your studies though highly unlikely.
  
  maybe if you really want to enter the march/april intake for poly, try going for med during oct?

  Though all male Singaporeans and Permanent Residents will be enlisted for full-time National Service (NSF) upon reaching the age of 18 years, those who are at least 16 and a half years old and wish to be enlisted earlier may do so under the Voluntary Early Enlistment Scheme (VEES).
