help on enlisting

  i just got my A lvl results, and i would be going ns soon, but if i were to skip ns first and take my poly/uni education first how do i do that? anyone can provide necessary details and websites? thx

  i never said i was gonna skip ns i said i was going to do it later, when u wanna post in a thread just to diss ppl and not help i suggest u dun post

  poly maybe you still can... uni? i dun think so they will allow... but you can try... just call mindef and tell them ytou want to continute to study...and see what they say... good luck :)

  I'm telling you kid, that you can't ... even scholars have to clear BMT first, and I don't think you are one, cos scholars don't even take A' levels anymore ....

  so just suck it up and serve kid ... you should be asking how to get enlisted earlier instead ... get it over and done with ...

  Bro are u going to study medicine in uni? if you are maybe you can defer and carry on with your studies and then serve ns as a MO

  You can only defer NS for poly if you are below 20 on the year of application. For uni, only medicine and dentistry course are allowed and you return to NS to serve as MO or DO

  i left jc after 2 years....went to poly. so wad dkcx said is correct. well...u noe ur results suck...go poly...den go army. if u wanna do it vice versa...also can...got pros n cons. u dun wanna be too old for ur classmates do u?

  Check whether the poly will accept enrolling you (in lieu of doing NS first) in the first place. All the school websites I checked required relevant applicants who are "19 years old & above as at 1 January of the year of admission" to obtain prior NS deferments. Ditto approval from CMPB if they change courses or plys. Same goes with the Poly or Uni side in reserving a place there if you cannot disrupt or 'siam' NS altogether. That's the system.

  Have you done your med checkup etc already? Maybe you're already in the enlistment page due to enter later of this year.
