Should NS have CPF ?

I just started out working
But when i compared my CPF against my female counterparts
my cpf balance is like 10% of theirs , after they work for 2 yrs
omg...

although it'll be good to have cpf, but the lower ranks one will definitely suffer.
but CPF for officers no problem.

Do you mean NSFs or military personnel in general?
If im not mistaken, regulars contribute to their CPFs. Correct me if im wrong, please.
And yeah, I won't want part of my meagre NSF allowance transferred into my CPF account. I can always start contributing when im working in the society with a 9-5 job.

CPF is for long term, last time i stupid hate cpf, now i step in working world, the cpf is beri impt

for nsfs i think maybe combat 3sg and officers pay then can take cpf la.

A terrible experience to share ...
before go army I did some work and i go some cpf saving with me ... until the government introduce simi insurance scheme that make pple not aware that they gotta pay using cpf ...
i also blur blur that one time and donno what the hell is the thing and never bother also its none of my business ... but the truth is i didn't know that the scheme eat my cpf money that i saved ... KNN ...
then i go army and there is no cpf and i am not aware that the silly cpf keep on deducting my cfp saving ... when my cpf no more money then they send me letter to inform me, please top up cpf money ... then i realise that how come my cpf become zero liao ... really very piss off one ... never i my life i going to support government liao ...
no matter how good is the government i can only say ... pui chao nua ...

I didn't know that NSF army officers are paid CPF! that's not very fair. Why should we be discriminated? I was even though that I was required pay income tax for my army allowance back then.

no they aren't.. i was just saying that only they can be given cpf cause they have the highest allowance.

is the insurance a must to pay? fark i dun want my cpf money to be drained for nth.

i tink during bmt always got one major promote insurance one rite, each mth pay 30+
den keep saying if we dun buy, tmr we might die and we regret

my advice is retain the policy because the premium rate is low and you are still free from illnesses.
I made the mistake of terminating the policy when I left the army. When I decided to pick up a policy, the premium was much higher.

ya, i took up the 10 dollars policy. u can even have it for life. where else on earth can u get such a cheap insurance policy.
and that policy doesn't eat into your cpf, so it shouldn't be the one the guy was talking about.

of course no. NSF's pa is already peanuts (yes i mean real peanuts) if minus off 20% then really not sure to spend liao.
