Not I wanna say... but really
was driving... one 5 tonner was waiting for me to clear for him to turn right into camp... but pls lor I'm like 500m away from that junction and lots of cars are alrdy waiting behind being a one lane road..
think of it, car behind might be thinking opposite direction no car being near why right turn not done
ltr on the eway, lots of vans overtaking on middle lane just because of 1 land rover travelling at 50kph... pls lor, it's even more dangerous than SAF's rationale of 50kph being safe when even heavy vehicles like buses speed limit is alrdy 60kph
We all complain about the slow speed of SAF vehicles. I guess the rationale is that SAF drivers are given less training before being allowed to driver and thus have lower speed limits? I know it doesn't really make sense. :)

like tis is even more dangerous
you think it's safer when in reality it's opposite to other road users
how come he can turn right?
I thought SAF rule is Tonners cannot make right turns in public roads?

oreali>? FYI ,saf drivers r given 1.5 mths of training. frm mon to sat .abt 30 lessons in total.frm driving rover in circuit ,all e way to 3 tons if they pass ist time.
last but nt least orientating 5 tons after driving test.
given that they are tested in class 4 vehicles n haf their driving test at ubi area, i am cetain that e majority r given sufficent practise.

Is it... then dunno liao
think of it... tat place is Old CCK Rd... cannot turn, gotta go to Sungei Tengah those small road to make a 'u turn' back...
50 and 60 not much difference. Its time to increase the speed limit. But for unimog. Those unimog drivers should know.

but land rover tat class of van speed limit ish 70kph liao
only buses, Y & X plate lorry is 60kph.. Cement mixer is banned from eway apparently cos of 50kph speed limit
true. but SAF is always prudent on safety. That explains the slow speed.
SAF driving and riding courses are not easy to pass. They are actually very much more stringent than the commercial driving tests. Those who went through any driving or riding course will agree with me.
Cannot run right is not for everywhere. It is more for no right turns into and out of camps, and especially for junctions without traffic light controls. Whereas if it is a traffic-light controlled junction, SAF vehicles can turn right.
