Regimental Police: RSAF Airforce RP Information?

I get posted to Regimental Police for a 2 week stayout course and I think the rest of my lfie will be 8-5 and sat sun off hahaha. Too bad I was posted to airforce and not army RP T_T
After this I will have 3 months training at Tenga Airbase (complete with field camps) .. anyone know anything about the training/work after training period? Shifts?
Sianzz .. atleast we got 2 weeks stayout without any PT haha.

Don't know how RP works in Tengah.....but in Changi it's always shift work.....for the FDS.....no 8-5 work...

fds/rp since when got 8-5 one?
they protect the camp 24 hours de ma.

Army RPs are usually 8-5 and at night hand over their duties to the Guard Duty personal and sergeants =P
I know Airforce and Navy (Air Trooper, Sea Soldier) arent 8-5. but shfit work means what?
24 hours work, 24 off, 24 stan-by? Do we get to bookout during standby?

airforce rps do shift duties . if i am not wrong 1 day there will be several rps on duty and are given shift duties which means work for several hours then rest n so on. So those rps on duty on that particular day will rotate among themselves
The next day should be duty rest where u are allowed to book out. Do be aware there are weekend n holiday duties too
Overall i think its good life though it gets monotonus n boring. -
not bad life... either 1/2 days work follwed by 1/2 days off...
see them quite relax also... see them also got nights off... not sure why...
the lodgings a bit lok cok liao... but canteen is nice..

Pigsticker, I heard the bunks there are old like heck ... tru anot?Haha I hope after 3 months my life will be like that, shfit work. They say training period is stayin for 3 months T_T

most trainees are all stay in. now even for operational vocations in airforce, air force schools makes them stay in also.

go CCK, take 975 or 172... 975 faster but 172 from interchange, so high chance can get seat... or go Boon Lay, take 172...
If got nights off, most probable go Juring Point or Lot 1...
The club 2 canteen quite nice and cheap... western food about 4 dollars...
The bunks cannot make it.. cos i think is pre-WW2 buildings.. but RP bunks slightly cleaner and better cos due to constant living... the bunk behind is in quite bad shape and u can hear dogs howling... but the RPs dun seem to use it...

So how often would i get to sleep at home every week? Haha I still dont really understand the shift thing, would I ever have a full day off? (24 hours)

Usually FDS for airforce goes in 3 shift, might have changed. Alpha, Bravo, Charlie.
will be on 24/7. 2 company on rotatation while the 3rd on 8-5.
during the NDP period, GOH will go for the practice while the rest will mix together & pretty much no need to think of booking out as usually almost all FDS will be short handed till the new batch come in.

Yah remember dig any underground cable do not continue don't be like the trainee in CAB, see cable sign still continue digging and cut the power supply to medical centre....
