I lost my Certificate of Service.
I ORD-ed 2 years ago.
How do I go about getting a replacement from the SAF ? Any idea ?
Thanks !
can try calling up mindef .. or ur previous unit .. c whether can get a replacement 1 anot ..
but den chances r very very slim
At first i also thought that the certificate is useless. Almost want to tear it and throw it away. But in the end, i realise a lot of companies require that when going for interviews
You have to find a willing CO to 'put in' a few good words on the certificate. ha ha.

serious? i think there's nothing much to it. i've been to interviews and have not use it yet.
thru ns.sg
they will advice you what to do but bear in mind there are some charges for replacement.
u need when looking for govt jobs... almost not needed for public sector... some might still want it though...
go down to cmpb and ask for replacement. think it's 10 or 20 bucks. forget already.

some private companies want it to make sure that U cleared ur NS liability.
Shit,I lost mine also and realised I need it to transfer to another organization.
I just applied for ns.sg and waiting for the confirmation.
How long will it take to receive my new COS?
lol, looks like another case of lost COS will be going to my unit...
time wise it all depends, considering the number of ppl who ORD every mth...
there will also be checks and stuff like that...
