Pilot 2D Echo Test

care to share more info about what its about and why must i go for it?? i've never had any heart problems and suddenly the aeromedical guys asked me to go for review to do 2D echo.

i hav no idea what it is but i thought u onli left the eye examinations? dun worry la...myab some heart murmurs but usually may not be serious...

ya..but apparently my ECG got so adnormalties so they want to make sure i don't have any heart problem.. the doc say got high chance of passing thou..so i won't worry

dun worry my friend...it is juz to confirm again as you know they must be veri strict coz pilot is a very "dangerous" vocation...onli those fit and healthy can pass thru...gd luck...

i just took my 2d echo last tuesday and i can say its nothing... all they do is jus put gel or some thingy at ur heart area and they'll scan around using some device. there will be a red/blue/black/white image on the monitor and the doctor will just check to see if your heart has any abnormality. the doctor is pretty good over there, so there's nth to worry about.
yes, i'm trying for pilot too, so our test should be the same. and no worries, if u know you havent got any heart problems or hole in ur heart, nothing megative should appear. =)

hye arison, you just graduated from poly? when did you went for your interview? i fail my interview on 19th march and the recruitment officer ask mi to make it into OCS and re-apply again but the problem for me now is i'm enlisting on 11th july for commandos mono-intake at pasir ris camp...headahce man!

arison. why did you go for 2D echo?? did the doc say anything abt the problem in your ECG? and when did u get the appointment for 2D echo? i just got my appointment on 18/04 and its on 6th august.. damn long leh..
