i nv forget how to swim juz that i haven swim for a long time le =)
What eac says about the swimming lesson is true.
As long as you are able to make that 50m within one go,you don't have to go for anymore swimming lessons.During my batch, there was no time limit but of course don't take too long like 30min or do it until you look like you gonna get leg cramps any moment or the pti might just order you out halfway for safety.
colourblindness is an issue only for certain vocations I think ....
I met a combat engineer officer once, who told me he was color blind, so he was disqualified from certain combat vocations, I can't remember which .....

so that means that the moment u start swimming u muz non-stop swim 50m?
how long is 50m?
maybe i too long nv swim ltr halfway stop =(
Not really non-stop lah but you must not have too frequent or too long breaks in between. For example,if you stop 15 times or take a 10 min stop in between swimming, the PTI would think you are not up to the standard and will pull you out due to safety concerns.
When I say one go,I mean you must succeed in first try.No other chances will be given.
If I remember correctly,it is 1 lap from the starting point and back to it using the swimming pool on Tekong.
the swimming lessons in bmt are fun leh..macham play water like that....:D
