can any1 tell me the timeline of ns? starting from day 1 when you register till you finish
thanks
boy, how old are you? 17 this year?
17
Your question is to general too be answered in detail.Things to be considered are your PES status and vocations plus unit you are posted to.
But in general,
1)CMPB health screening and pre-registration
2)BMT(assuming you never OOC halfway)
2)OCS,SISPEC OR VOCATIONAL TRAINING
3)POSTED TO UNIT(overseas excercises should be expected)
4)ORD as per original date(Provided you did not get charged while serving)
5)RESERVIST(till 40 years old for enlisted/spec ranks,50 for officers or those in special forces)
Wats OCS, SISPEC, unit and ORD??
OCS=Officer Cadet School (Training of new officers aka 2LT rank)
SISPEC=School of Infantry Specialist (Training of new sergeants to be aka 3SG rank)
Unit=The battalion/divison which you will be assigned to for the rest of your NSF live.Main active divions are 3,6,9.
ORD=I cannot believe that you do not know this word!Hehe, but it's alright. It stands for Operationally Ready Date.Basically means the end of your NSF life and beginning of your reservist cycle.
