Now here's my qns, lets say i join a contact cca, lets say rugby and i break a bone or smth during the course of my 3 years in poly when i enlist can i still be accepted as a PES A? I'm concerned over this as i heard that in order to be a RSAF pilot you have to be a PES A. Replies and help will be greatly appreciated!:D thanks dudes.

fractures have many types, go wikipedia it here.
it depends on the severity n the heal factor. on major bones, is permanent downgrade pes. on minor bones, it may be a perm; or temp downgrade for a couple of months. then review again, supported by x-ray and specialist memo, to see e healing factor.
what pes ready depends on the reviews reports by specialists. no definate exact pes for fractures, e.g. can be anywhere in the range of pes C. those healed very good may be good enough be pes b.
ok, thanks lots for your help :D. Ok, but i gather from your reply that pesA would be out of the question should i break a bone right? be it hair line fracture or smth?

it really depends on the site of fracture n the heal factor.
cases i remembered having seen:
e.g. both knee replacement surgery = c2l2
prolapsed lumbar "slipped" disc = c2l2 to c9l9, depends on severity.
childhood minor skull fracture BUT healed near perfect = c2l3
road traffic accident (teenage year) that causes multiple fractures at the ankles, although healed but when in pain walk with a slight limp = e1l3
