My vocation was BMT sect comd. haha, but later posted out to active Bn. That's why i am a hated vocation.
But my RSM ever "disciplined" a MP officer (DXO) before for parking in the parade square.
wah, fellow 9 div personnel! your rsm isnt in the wrong for scolding that person. sect comds have 1 of the worst jobs in the army. respect u.

MPs who are private can search even a full COL (my MP did) to see if he brought cam phones in or something like that. Actually if you ask me, as long as you know how to explain yourself and speak confidently, nobody can fault you for doing your job.
Oh yes, MPs cant have tattoos, but after you have been inside for sometimes and you decided to get inked, can right? Cos I saw something along that line.
If MP no officers, who will charge them? MP officer will charge officer.
Anyone knows what's SMI-MP?
I remember during my BMT days, was called up for an SMI-MP interview. Only a handful (like around 6-7) while the rest in the company (maybe 20) went for the normal MP interview.
None of us knew what it was. In the end, some of us got in, some of us didn't. I didn't but till this day, always wondered what the hell is SMI. And why must be different...
school of military intelligence?
so, a MP of PTE rank can search MG? :D
