yup, replacement is in phases...
nice vehicle thou. just wondering how do we make a safety rover out of it.
Heard from a Ford insider that they are having difficulty supplying the vehicles to SAF cos production in US stopped.
Damn nice to ride on.....well, like all new-new things.
wah, air-con!!
couldn't SAF sign contract with Ford for them to specifically manufacture to our numbers?
Sure, they signed with Ford agent in Singapore.
But Ford HQ decided to stop production of money losing vehicles and one of those chopped is the SUV SAF selected. Problems with parts later also.
icic, hope that it doesn't turn out to be a bad business move..
Ford Everests are not US-made. They are Philippines made, IIRC.
Was at regent sending my car for servicing, spoke to the SA and jokingly say this year bonus will be good cos SAF bought so many Ford Everest. Then he told me that SAF is going to sue Regent for not delivering on schedule. Then he said production may have stopped.
That's how I got to know.

They could also be made in Thailand, I think. In any case, you are right, they are definitely not from US.
SAF like to buy cheap stuff. Can save money one they will go for it for sure!
