Please advise as stated in the topic.
What is the proper chain of command if I were to request a transfer? (Transfer is not due to medical reasons, and, please assume first party prefers an internal transfer)
Is it: 1) Talk to PC and PC would talk to OC, if rejected, then talk directly to S1/CO?
2) Talk to PC, talk to OC, if rejected, S1/CO?
If any bros could provide tips and addtional information, I'd really appreciate it.
Edit: PC rejected request of transfer...

I don't even know if there's a chief clerk in first party's unit.
And who's dyS1?
Assuming the current state of things is causing a lot unhappiness to first party and coy, first party's mental well-being has been compromised.
Assuming OC wouldn't be too glad to hear of this, wouldn't this put the welfare of first party at further risk?
How should first party approach this situation?

dyS1, is usually a nsf 2lt/lta under s1 officer usually a cpt; dys1 means deputy s1 officer.
then ignore oc, pc, and ps. go to chief clerk, chief clerk, dyS1, and S1 officer.
and usually, there should be a quarterly 'blue booklet' interview in unit life. same as the bmt pc 1-1 interview.

Thanks for replying, Rednano, I truly appreciate it. Pardon my rudeness for not expressing thanks earlier on.
I'm going to ask a series of hypothetical questions, so whenever I say "assuming" or "assume", please do not infer that I'm the first party
I understand and have seen some enciks whom actually read this forum like stealth ninjas. So may I say "Hi Ciks"

I'm not aware of any quarterly interview in first party's unit. Anyway, lets asssume that this is a pressing matter, and can't be put off till the next interview.
But wouldn't approaching chief clerk, dyS1 and S1 be breaking the chain of command?

IMHO, its just a small diviation from the CoC, like a branching out in a workchart flow.
unless the PC or OC is the good type, otherwise just speak directly to the people whose power can move the personnel around directly. its the same in outside work next time. A is ur boss, B is the boss u like to work for, how? find HR dept.
an analogy: would u go to a science teacher to ask an english literature question...?

Forgive me, but your IMHO might land first party in trouble later on.
Assuming that first party speak directly to S1, what's the usual situation? Can first party requests for an internal transfer specifically?
And then assuming, transfer had been rejected by S1 Branch. What's the next step?

dun leave the chief clerk out... yes u can request, but to grant or not is up to s1 branch..
if rejected, either go the route of the medical centre, or lan lan suck thumb then.

Biang.
First party's request of transfer is not due to medical reasons, so how to go the MC route?
Really suck thumb meh? The options of CO or SAF hotline are still not exhausted leh? Assuming that first party got integrity and will not exploit the medical centre path, and first party is determined to put all his money on the table and choose not to suck thumb.
Please advise.

CO also must see he is the good type or not.
SAF hotline is usually for show. y? most cases will be routed back to unit to take care.

Assuming first party had a few encounters with CO, and has a good impression of CO. Proceed?
What's the absolute worst case scenario? Assuming this is all-the-way thingy liao

1st party got good impression of CO doenst mean CO likes him or will be bothered to help him. but by all means, proceed. but take note that all the CoC will definitely be informed by CO too.
worst case scenario: saf hotline and CO direct back to chief clerk, then to dys1, then to s1, then to OC, then to PC. which means, problem not solved.

Gee, any sure fire method for first party?
Bump, this is urgent.

there r bound to be some risk involved.
go very proper coc -> wait wait wait, time factor
go alternative direct to s1 branch - > direct to HR, may CC info to OC to FYI him...
hypothetical questions comes hypothetical risks.

a PC = at most is 2 bar nia... what power what authority... still oso NSF nia...
so u said ur good friend is rejected by PC... pple here no need say...
guess he should know the next higher up on the CoC...
want to play, must got the guts to play big... take risk...
next is either his coy OC, or go find chief clerk/dyS1/S1 officer liao... he ownself go choose which way to go...
if he still want to knock his head somemore despite pple's advices here, pls go ahead...
Want to play, must got the guts to play big... That is so enlightening..
But I wouldn't encourage him to take risk... maybe calculated risk... but not major risk...
If this whole thing goes out of hand.. what's the possibility of him getting court martial?
If none, then it's time for him to hit the red button liao..
