Shaver: Manual / Auto ?

  Hey guys,this is a very last minute decision..I'll be enlisting tomorrow and I have no idea whether a shaver will be issued..Does anybody knows whether it'll be issued?

  its issued, but then the shaver sucks,  its until a few wks later they issue a better 1.. so u may wanna get some disposal shaver 1st

  what about bringing this march 3 then i'm currently using?Is it okay?

  If the standard kit they issue has not change,then there should be one manual shaver issued in the olive pouch along with your toothbrush,toothpaste and dental floss.No extra shaving blades though.

  To play safe,bring your one along.If they do issue,then keep the the one you brought as extra or bring it home on your first book out.

  Can,people even bring in electric shaver too.

  oh ya when i was in BMT they gave me mach 3 after a wk or 2

  buy auto, no need change blade and no need soap, win win situation

  .............they did?

  All I got was a small black plastic shaver which could barely cut through paper after 1 week of usage.

  Even the shaver they issue also going 3G.

  lol got lae.. they 1st issue the useless disposable shaver

  but after tt they issue mach 3... good 1 lae... follow me thru out NS

  until now i still using...

  ya their shaver still "3G"

  now is G Fusion 5 blade shaver liao... complain to saf...

  Barun electronic shaver oso not bad, with 5 blades, auto washer + free 3 solution and 1 spare battery

  haha..thanks alot for the advise..shall bring along my one..Disposable shavers damn cannot make it one
