Guys I was wondering. Let's say if someone takes up the JPSAF Air force scholarship and becomes a senior technician after graduating. Is it possible for the individual to covert from that vocation to a pilot vocation after the first contract expires?

Technically, while you are holding in Air Force School upon graduation from your poly but before enlistment into BMT, you can actually convert to a pilot contract without serving as a senior technician provided you fulfill all the criterias below:
- Pass your medica
- Pass your COMPASS test
- Pass your pilot interview
- Perform well enough in BMT to qualify for OCS
You have to ask Air Force Recruitment Centre or Air Manpower Department about it. Take note though, they like to tell you things you like to hear but there are some things which they do not tell you and you might be in for a nasty shock when you find out about it.

Hey thanks for the response! I see... so that means that even though the contract for the scholarship is meant to groom you into a specialist.. you can still "jump over" to become an officer...

I must disclaim that's only for pilot because pilot has the highest priority in the RSAF and the SAF.
As I can see, you are on the JPSAF scheme on your way to becoming a senior technician. I will advise you not to accept it because you will be a spec instead of an officer (Air Engineering Officer aka AEO).
If you have accepted it, do ask Air Force Recruitment Centre/Air Manpower Department if you have the option to convert over to an AEO. However, this is only possible if you are able to pursure engineering at a degree level. If you are stuck at diploma, then this option is effectively closed.
