is it possible to achieve it?
with proper time management?
Yes, my encik was a regular, day time encik, at night go take diploma. Had gf, but not married at that time.
shd be ok i think
l used to work in the day, nite time i study acca & give tution
should be possible but needs determination. my friend tried to study during NS but didnt do that well in the exams cause have to juggle studies during free time.
its possible only if u r in a 8-5 vocation
thanks for all the replies.
just felt that its a 3-way commitment i've got to shoulder.
army, girlfriend and studies. guess its either i make it or break it.
well consulted my encik for advice and he told me not to worry whether i get a 8-5 posting or not.
a lil about myself. am currently a technician and going through my OJE now. so as far as i'm concerned, i'm not in my perm unit as of yet.
thinking that its quite a fair bit of time being taken up for studies so am really considering real hard. furthermore its not really cheap to be enrolled into a priv uni. so can't really afford to do badly
no worries man, since you're a technician, most likely you'll be going home everyday around 6 or 7. you'll definitely be able to do ur part time studies.
the only factor left is ur determination, cos you can be damn shagged from a day's work in camp, and you'll need time for your revision and homework too.
Yes. Everything is possible.

U're in which AMB? In the past there was once B mech of 3AMB were forced to stay in if they failed IPPT. No such news from the other AMBs so you should generally be stayout but do note that for technicians, OT is very common during periods of exercise/LAB etc and its almost impossible to get leave/off granted during such periods even if you have exams etc unless your WOIC or OC is very generous and kind to you.
Anyway, as most technicians go, you are unlikely to change AMB since where u OJE is normally where you end up in the end cos most of them hate to retrain people as each AMB and even each workshop may have slightly different work procedures.

Yes. Provided you stayout. One of my friend is doing a degree in Marine Engineering and the other is doing diploma in accountancy. there is also exam leave/ off given. Usually, when one say he have lessons he would also be excuse to leave early or skip duties.
Does not apply for lousy units.
I remember that idiot was in SAFSA, unit water polo and doing a degree so he is always not around. A good role model to follow.
