My first in camp was in 2003. It is 2009 now and I have recently done my 2009 high key.
In between these years, there were some years the unit has not been called up for ICT. And there were years where we were called up more than once. As a result, I only served 5 high keys during these years.
There's another complication. My unit was formed in 2001 but I joined them in 2003 because I was studying.
My question is...
So does my 10 years cycle end in 2012, 2010 or much much later, since I still have 2 more high keys to finish.
Not 10 yr ICT, but 10 ICT min 7 high key......
I was in the same situation as you. I don't know about you but for me it was not enough ppl to form a unit so have to wait for a long time before my first call up.
The game is this - either 40 yrs old (non-officer rank) or 10 years cycle (10 ICT) comes first. Whichever one hits you first than the game over.
If I am not called up during that year, does it count as part of that 10 year cycle?

Of cos not, it's 10 cycles not 10 years...
one in-camp attendance = 1 ICT
it is 10 ICT comes first or 40 yr old comes first........and game over
There were 3 years we were called back twice. But I know that this only count as 1 ICT.... :(
For ICT or wat?
When you go in-camp......very impt that u get it 'chomp'.....
For ICT lor. Twice a work year.
You need to complete 7 high keys 3 low keys. Just go count how many of both you done to see how many are left
When they send you the green letter, it will state ICT or briefing or refresher course or training.
Never throw away the green form, the army is staffed by greenhorn NS boys. They can blur blur sent you for two lCT and recorded only as one.
But according to MINDEF, their rule is simple.....
Complete 10 ICT (regardless of how many fark high or low keys.....because the army organisation is one big screw up) or hit 40 yrs old than they release you.
If you really complete 2 ICT in one yr, got record or not? got than go and clarify with them....
Unfortunately they don't count it that way. The keyword is "min" 7 high. In theory 10 high is possible.

yes, this is very dependable on the unit, that comes under which formation/ division...

Actually if you have ICT before Apr and another one after Apr, then it's consider 2 ICT in 2 work year
a workyear (financial year) = april to march
so if you complete 2 ICT per working year, it is still counted as 1 cycle completed, rite?
so it is to complete 10 cycles with min of 7 high keys, rite?

so summarily it's for high key min 7 and max total ICT of both low key and high key is 10 cycles and not more right?
