LOL! I do think yes, he's not as physically tough and fit or good on the command ground as other SAF scholars, errr minus his brother. But it doesn't mean it affects his command as a civilian leader.
And no, Lazerlordz: it's physically impossible for a scholar BDE Comd to not have spent "the last 20 years on the ground". To date, no one any army worldwide, scholar or otherwise has ever become a Bde Comd without doing the tours of PC, OC and BN commander.

I know.
I wonder if both BG Lees went to Delta Coy or was the scholar wing of OCS not formed in the early days..how can they pass Delta Wing.. at least 10 times more siong and gruelling than any of the other OCS wings.
Its funny what people who did not even go to OCS like to say and the kind of gall they have in their remarks about a subject they can't tell their arse from their face.. For this, I praise farmer teraexa at least he's not bobo cock to this extent.

Stuff like that happens, unfortunately.

Look who is their father. In sg only certain people from that particular family are given special privilege

I assure you that PM Lee and his brother went to OCS. I wasn't talking about them above.

Nope, double checked. BG(nes) Lee Hsien Loong...don't know why and what is nes though...but his appointment at that time was a Trade minister.
Just to clarified about delta wing training as mentioned by gloater. Their training are not that siong. In fact there are other wings in OCS whose training are more siong than delta.

clap clap so which wing do you say leh?sierra for girls? foxtrot?
Section field camp wildboar of delta wing is 3 days more, about 100% longer in duration all the other wings.
delta is always the same OOC as Foxtrot, Sierra and Tango. Army assigned delta to be the wing to assess who they want to pick. Even the dropouts of delta wing who failed to make the cut for the SAFOS have the rights to say that they went through delta wing OCS. In fact out of the wing, since only 5 people are selected, it means the rest who are farmers like teraexa have earned the right to say they went through delta coy (did you teraexa? ) not bad not bad! Clap clap!!!!!! i am impressed by him!
you can read one of the numerous accounts of farmers' delta experience here http://sgharry.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html there are tonnes more, this guy here is my friend...90% of scholars do not blog about this. u probably confused yourself with delta in BMT, which is well, chicken feed.
You can also ask someone here who knows. The moderator wuming78

i didn't say he was from delta.
The interesting thing about delta is that the PT is two times as everyone else, so is the section field camp because of scholar selection, but the rigor does not abate after the scholars disrupt and get their swords and go overseas. there're still at least 4 months before commission for the rest of the cadets in delta. and the ones left behind are still made to go thru the same standard of delta. way to go teraexa!

amazing how your obsession about me never fails to abate. incredible. you really amuse me with your frequent unsolicited, unprovoked and somewhat unilateral mentions about me. i wonder when you might stop that stalking habit of yours but i have long given up on that.
still, let me clarify one thing: i didn't serve out my entire service term in delta wing. i went over to air wing after 2 weeks. unlike you, i won't consider myself having 'completed' delta wing because i never even finished the army service term there. those who have done it have gone through shit and i respect them for having done that (i count at least 3 to 4 close friends, of which 1 is an OMS in case you demand for the credentials of my friends).
psycho_max is correct to state that delta wing is not exactly the most xiong wing in ocs because alpha wing is up there with them even though alpha wing usually caters to the poly intake. foxtrot and sierra cadets are not known to watch 'horror shows' for nothing.
however, that said, gloater, i sometimes wonder how you are able to roll off the details of delta wing training (from your scholar relatives no doubt) with such ease and yet there is a lack of evidence that you were in delta for a single day. in fact, did you even go ocs? i feel only those who have been through, even for a single day (much less 9 mths which is why i say again i respect those who completed it), are deserving to speak of the training because that is what they have went through and experienced. i won't, because i went over to air wing after 2 weeks and also because i have a sense of shame (go ahead and start your attack on my views of local uni. i know you are itching for it right here right now). you? i am not so sure...
yep 2 weeks in delta did make me grow up somewhat and being surrounded by all the scholars-to-be is a humbling experience to say the least. nevertheless, i learnt as much, if not much more, when i went over to air wing. scholars? hardly any. i can count on my hand the scholars-to-be in air wing. still, the regulars, who are mostly from poly, offered a world view that was both different and refreshing compared to that offered by the cacoon of "Top 3" jc alumni. that is something that you will never get with scholars-to-be around, no matter how intelligent, high-flying they are. it's simply because they have never gotten gpa 2.2+, never failed before and never learnt to work to pay their own studies (not for allowances or to pad their CVs).
the difference in the worlds of scholars and normal poly grads are as different as the day and the night. you have been spending too much time in the day.

You're dreaming. How do you know who all my friends are? Suddenly you're a clairvoyant who can not only read minds, but also know the friends of your internet chatters without being told about them. Wow!! Have your ORD? Your new powers must have been bestowed to you by your eminent lecturers in school.
It's well known in OCS that D wing is the toughest life and have the biggest piece of sai to endure like doing twice the amount of other wings for everything. Foxtrot and Sierra like you said "watch horror shows", but they could only watch D wing and be referring to them, cos F and S are in the same OCS cohort as D. Not A.
Delta also picks up the best awards in its cohort, historically. This is just the latest news, the latest out of what is a historical OCS tradition. Overall champion, Fastest Platoon, Best Shot.

In that case, then Alpha and Delta are the most siong wings and have the best results, one for poly and the other for A level grads then. The reason I raised D wing is because, I found it ironically amusing how some people who didn't even go to OCS, or went to OCS but not A or D wing, like to talk cock all day long about the toughness or ground command of high fliers. I find it very amusing, to sum it up, its a case of "I-am-a-blind-fool-but-I-love-to-talk-all-day-long-about-opthamology-like-I-am-an-opthamology-surgeon". It's because D wing horror and results are so well known that I was very sure they didn't even make it to OCS.
I was an OCS dropout and subsequently paper warrior in mindef. Its precisely because OCS was too tough for me, and I actually had hints of what went on there that I have a sense of shame unlike those people who didn't even go to OCS or D wing or A wing and like to pass funny comments like they're opthamology surgeons when they're blind. Apt analogy.
Do not worry about what I see. I made and have plenty of friends in all walks of life including those who did not complete secondary school. Thank you for your concern.

if you are an OCS dropout i trust that you know that A, S, D and F are in the same pink cluster. if so, how can you not understand the meaning of watching horror show? i myself have seen horror shows from A wing even during my short 7 wks of service term in ocs, much less those who stay in the same cluster. remember, you don't have to be from the same batch to watch 'horror shows'. ><
as to 'know' who your friends are, well it doesn't take a genius to guess with your clear obsession in putting forward your views of high-fliers. for the uninitiated to your background here, he/she can jolly well be forgiven for thinking that you are a stalker of these high-fliers.
as to what you see, your myopic view can't be more obvious when you went on to savage every single local graduate and trampled on their dignities or what little is left of them just because you happen to be born with a silver spoon and be able to afford to study in a foreign institution. now suddenly you've come to say, "i made and have plenty of friends in all walks of life including those who did not complete secondary school." while you spew your bigotry here. hypocrisy? do the 'friends' you have happen to be exclusive of the very group of local graduates which you gunned down mercilessly online? if you have this group of 'friends', what will they think of you if that post/thread was attributed to you? you know better, paper warrior.
and by the way, i extend no concern towards you. it's pity. learn to recognise the difference, foreign university graduate. to you, i may be a dumbo that's just delusional about the standard of local universities. to me, you are no better.

haha poor teraexa, I was curious to know why you sound so bitter and upset..so agitated.. compared to your usual faux cool cucumber persona. yuan lai ish your pride so hurt by my taunts of your impending inferior and damaging de-education hahaha sobs man sobs.
Charlie OCC ftw Delta got SSG Philip Hardcore fella..LTA Azmi still APC at delta or not?
by the way, are you homosexual?

I mean what can I say about prideless hangdog mentality, and content to remain in a little well embedded in a little red dot and 'taught' by dubious and half fucked China lecturers in disgusting greying buildings left untouched since the early 1980s. I guess your addled mind which caused you to end up there has similarly caused you to forget that my sentiments are limited to the miseducated such as yourself who are further confused and assume the guise of a learned person, and not everyone else in Singapore who aren't victims of the grim and confusing devolution you are about to endure.
it's quite hard to stalk people while holding a full time job, you know that thing which so many products from your devolutionary institutes can't chance on nowadays even if they accept half of the minimum third world wage they usually command
What gives me kicks is when I analyse the embarrassing shameless no face facades of human life who got no sense of self measurement, like to talk cock all day long about people they can't compare with even if they died and got reincarnated, i find it funny, ironic and an interesting curious periscope into the psychology of jealous sociopaths..in any case I can talk about whoever i like. why so jealous neh? don't be so jealous that no one in the larger public will talk about you ever in your life, except when you commit sexual crimes like rape against young boys like your fellow alumni the nus homosexual sex predator, or when you misuse matric cards to get student discounts in fast food restaurants like your low class future classmates reported all over the papers today.
please learn to recognise bitterness and upset better. i certainly wasn't bitter nor upset. funny how your attempts to read my emotions go from pathetic to well, even more pathetic.
well since it's in your nature to gloat, i guess i am truly tired of even trying to drill sense into that thick cranium of yours. go ahead and gloat. go gloat about your overseas education and be (excessively) proud of it. go trample over every single local graduate. go spread your savage opinions of local graduates in hong lim park. i will like to see how you manage to crawl out of such a situtation alive. no worries, i will stomp it and throw in a live camera crew for good measure. good luck, overseas educated graduate.
talk is all you can muster, keyboard warrior. your words used to sting that wee bit but lately it has become less stingy. what happened to your best, and only, weapon? no guarantee from that overseas university of yours with regards to your ability to fire text missiles?
remember, the next time you play a poker game, you need no joker cards. you are a bigger joker than all 4 jokers combined.

Wow, adjective of sting is stingy..?? Indeed, devolutionary institutes and you are true compatible bedfellows. You have made the right 'choice', if you even had one which i highly doubt. I did not know you've been closely following me, are you stalking me whilst you claim I stalk you? I'm sorry, I do not consciously or actively calibrate my scorn level for you, nor do I observe a rigorous quota of disdain to be met with discipline, it just comes spontaneously, the only benchmark to which it observes is the absurdity of whom I see...
Also, it's ballbustingly amusing that you've resorted to 'inviting' me to go to Hong Lim park, clearly in the depths of your delusion, you actually interpret some form of hollow 'victory' in that my thoughts of you and your fellow bumpkins are communicated to you via an internet platform instead of your face. How do you know that I am not actually your friend in real life? Looking at you in your face and not telling you the truth. They aren't telling you the truth and you aint knowing nothing. The truth that we all recognise, is that the like of you are without substance nor calibre, but are deeply mired in a maelstrom of delusions and festering pride about your own measurements, unjustified it may be. Coupled with your immensely large and indiscrminate char palang intake that takes in everyone in Singapore, you enjoy a sense of security because there's so many to commisserate with.
By the way, I'm pretty sure you imagined that the only thing separating you and your compatriot from quality education is money, as you have more than once made that remark. Don't be silly and stop being deluded. my former classmate's results of 4A and 1 S merit earned him a rejection from Oxford (not even HYPSM, one zillion times can?) and he 'had to' go to LSE. Does that represent the mean, median or majority or even 20% of your devolutionary institutes? Vomit inducing delusions.. This is the result of being blindfolded for life by the scarf of ignorance.
I edited to add: your parting line "remember, the next time you play a poker game, you need no joker cards. you are a bigger joker than all 4 jokers combined." *CLAP CLAP* truly grade A, top notch...it is so intelligent and funny, your devolutionary institute should finally get some form of prize after having none, even if it's for comedy.

My my, thanks for pointing out that particular blind spot. Darn. How was I able to relate stingy as being the adjective of sting? My my, see what SAF has done to me... I believe a little gratitude to you is in order here. After all, I give credit even to people with craniums of concrete-thickness when it's due.
Me stalking you? Well maybe you forgotten that in 3 different threads, you invoked my name 3 different times to support your local-graduate-bashing. Tell me, oh-mighty-foreign-graduate, who is the stalker and who is being stalked?
As for 'inviting' you to air your views in a non-internet platform, it was a pseudo-ruse to see if you had the guts to stand by your bigoted views. Well, it seems like you totally misinterpreted it. Dear dear, what happened to your quality overseas education? Can't even interpret an easy thing like this? Or perhaps you just don't have the balls to do so?
You can be rest assured that you will hardly qualify as one of my accquaintances, much less a 'friend'. After all, I believe your definition of 'friend' perhaps matches up to my definition of 'accquaintance'. No wonder you claim to have 'friends' from all walks of life. Still, even if fate dictates that I have the penultimate misfortune of having you as one of my 'friend', I guess I won't be angry with you. No point getting angry over a 'friend' whose heart is perhaps the size of a helium atom and mind as open as a virgin's pussy.
For the money-vs-quality argument, you are perhaps the biggest prove that money is all that bigots like you need to enter 'quality' overseas universities compared to one who probably has more talent but much less money. By the way, you still have not stated your university for you claim that it is unnecessary and you don't wish to sully your university's name. Well, in that case, it seems like your claims of having undergone 'quality' education at a 'quality' overseas university can hardly be qualified. How can we be sure that you didn't go to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia?
Still, Gloater/Gloaterback, I must congratulate you for adding a certain amount of spice to these forums. It's been a long time since a punching bag appeared in this forum and you fit the requirements like a glove (or some will say condom).
If you are laughing at the person in front of you, finish it quick. I will be removing the mirror in a short while.
BTW, what's up with the suffix 'back'? Did your original account get banned? Or did the Supreme Being decid to lengthen your online forum nickname in compensation for the shortening of your reproductive appendage? Or is the suffix 'back' in commemoration of something you just broke?
This thread should be drawn to a close. Please stop feeding the troll
