hi,
i went for my medical checkup 1 year ago, enlisted a few months ago.
when i did my checkup, my eyesight degrees were 725 and 950 for each eye, classified into Pes B...
now eyesight worsened since that checkup to about 750 and 1000. do i need to declare anywhere?
thanks
Its not a huge rise and should not significantly affect your vision so i don't think there is a need to.
ya... its common sense to declare asap to the camp MO... just report sick as usual at the medical centre for a medical review... with an optican note/ memo...
the problem is, if your eyesight has hit the 1000 mark, it is possible that you have to down pes to C1L3.
but depending on yourself, whether you want to be in command school or as a service spec/man, the choice is yours.

Didn't know that about the 1000 thing but really C1L3 is not much different from PES B since still need IPPT and promotion depends on that.
Pretty small rise, but there's no harm in going to your MO with a note from the optometrist.
Let the MO decide whether your case should be forwarded to the medical board.
