It was questioned by my ps as of why does the commander have to wear smart 4 when they book in or out with their coy as the regulations was effected only recently during the H1N1 period.. feel free to comment if you know the reason. thanx

i guess its to project an image of professionalism bah. im kind of supportive of the idea. it looks better to hav a commander in uniform with his man to book in / out of camp rather than a commander in civilian clothing taking charge of his man during booking in say at pasir ris interchange?　
Actually! Usually dont care. Just pure lazy to change.
Only newbie find booking cilizan or smart4 an issue.
It is just a job.
Last time in my unit, we don't really care booked out in what......some too lazy to change booked out in no4 or no3. Some change to CV lor......now in reservist, never really care always booked out in No 4 unless got events in the evening then booked out in cv.
I always wonder why during NSF, we were allowed to book in/out in civillian after the BMT stage but we have to be in smart4 during booking in/out during ICT unless we drive.
