Out of Course: But Still Want 3SG Rank, Can Or Not?

hey guys , i have recently downpes-ed and dropped out of my current spec 2 course at SAF medical TI. Have been downpes to C9L2 and posted to SAFTI MI as an ASA. Is there any chance at all that i will get to become a specialist , does anyone know of any similar case at all? I am really interested in becoming a specialist not because of the pay or what but just interest. Thanks :)

go sign on or go tattoo a sgt rank on both arms....then when u decide to convert to officer you can ask the tattoist to make a few bars or crabs on your shoulder too.

As an ASA no.
If you can even OOC from a logistic course, how can you ever pass any spec course...

You may get a local promotion if there's a Admin Spec post available, but that's about it.
No pay increment in that scenario.
However, your chances of this is very unlikely given your poor course performance which will be recorded down.

Few places have admin specs these days. They seem to be more in the formation level sort of places etc where there are enough clerks to need a admin spec

Aim for CFC instead.
They are much rarer than 3SG anyway.

I heard there is an Admin Specialist course. The course trains SAF regulars to take up chief clerk positions or Admin Spec positions. Besides regulars, the course also trains NSF ASAs selected by their units to become admin specialists. After completion of the course, these NSF ASAs will be promoted to 3SG.

Yeah but not many units have and bother to get an admin spec

ASA can get 3SG rank but that depends on estab as well as u belong to scholar class or not or atleast that is wat happen to my unit, only those who are air level scholar who are PES C/E ASA gets to climb to 3SG.

lol why go for 3SG rank for ASA when you can become a 2SG?
I ever saw this pes E 2SG ASA at a 3DIV gathering. Most probably a local promotion rank for a 3SG. As a ASA, if you angkat your enick/officer enough, he or she might give you a local promotion to 3SG. That's how things work out in my unit. -
I rather keep my LCP and spit at a local 3sg promotion. Do the work and have the responsibilities of a spec, yet the monthly allowance of a PTE. Puiiiiii!
