dude, based on my experience, its better to start from 3km, but if you are not used to the rigours, then just jog at your slowest the whole way, but try not to walk.
you'll get the best cramps you'll ever get if you're weak in 2.4km, but subsequently, you can increase the distance, and possibly the speed although I dont really increase mine.
when the day of 2.4 comes, you'll find that jogging for 12 min is really no sweat and can confidently push to your limit and pass well.
For chin-ups, do more chin-ups. Push-ups dont significantly do much to improve pull-ups for me.
For SBJ, again, do more SBJ, you can do many many tuck jumps, but the technique and your mental processes will prove as important during IPPT.
I'm now deciding whether to go for another Napfa or not.
A lot of people say that PTP is not good. Should not go for PTP somemore now 8wks.. But i dun see any thing bad abt PTP. In my opinion, PTP prepare us for BMT.
I think BMT is more shiong than PTP rather than PTP more shiong than BMT.
Am i wrong in anything here?

Direct BMT is siong in the sense that all the training are very pack and back to back while PTP ppl will generally clear some of the BMT stuff during PTP so their training schedule is slightly less packed and more progressive compared to direct BMT especially in areas like route marches.
PTP is siong in the senses its filled almost fully with physical training and nothing else so for anyone who has not conditioned his body to alot of physical training, it might be abit tough to cope with all that training since direct BMT is more focus on military training and alot less physical.
