Should be fine but why the hell would u wanna use the fieldpack? Dufflebag at least still looks ok but fieldpack...
Actually the new fieldpack looks ok enough to bring out for holiday what.. Except for the fact that its' colour is army green, otherwise everything else about it makes it a suitable bag to bring overseas (big, can stuff alot of clothes in).
It's too big to fit as a carry on luggage for flights, so it'll be ideal for going Msia and what not for a holiday..

I still feel i rather use any bag but the fieldpack :p
think it is more suitable for hiking bah, rather than as luggage.
but again, for hiking, backpacks might be more suitable.
Just peel / tear off the label. OD bags are not much of a eye turner.
Ditto about the newer bags that comes in the new camo.
cool, so it should be okay huh.
should be okay for a short backpacking trip i think...
i don't have a 'civilian' luggage and im too lazy to get one.
thanks for the prompt replies
Remove any label that might identify it as an saf field pack lor. Later raise eyebrows and create suspicions at immigration counters.
Does SAF said that we cannot bring the fullpack for travelling? I even wore the combat boots for winter weather in europe before. What's the big deal?
i used to use Combat boots for overseas travel where i know there will be trekking.
but since stopped when i realised it has kept triggering metal detectors and gave up because there are some places that require "no footwear"
as for duffel/field pack, i don't see a problem my only worry is that some Customs officer might conveniently assume you are some security risk and stop you for further checking.
my friend had quite a problem with US customs when they found out he was SAF officer, but nothing much, just pulled one side and ask further questions. no real delay.
