A certificate from the organisation will be mailed to you after you completed the requirements for the course.
Good or not depends on the course you choose and whether the knowledge will be applicable to you or not.

I took a life science course offered by NTU since it is related to what i'm going to study in uni.
They mailed it a few months after i completed the course since they give you about 3 months to complete the required stuff. If all is done, they will check your work at the end of the duration and sent the cert to you by mail.
what usually do u haf to do to completethe course? so everything is done online? ie the theory..

Its all online.
Requirements depends on the course. Usually some quiz or test that you have to take and pass. Number of tests depends on number of chapters/topics you are supposed to cover as part of the course etc. Diff course is diff so i can't tell you much on this.
y did u choose to sign up for it?

Whether or not you want to sign up for E-prep is your choice and you should have your own reasons for choosing it or not choosing it. Everyone have different interest, needs, experiences etc so there is no point in asking others what and why they take certain courses and just think about yourself.
the courses like dkcx mentioned, cost $395 liao.. enough to clear ur entire credits
pity that the NTU courses costs the most
now they onli gif 350 creds each then if not enough muz pay myself??
Originally posted by AhJun:now they onli gif 350 creds each then if not enough muz pay myself??
Credits can only be used to pay a max of 90% of the course fee so regardless what course you choose, you will still need to pay 10% of the fees.

Hi AhJun,
Just to add on to what dkcx has kindly mentioned, if a course costs $900, and you only have 350 credits, you will have to pay the remaining $550 yourself.
Cheers.
so which means the 350 credit will deduct the full amt and not the 10% amt tt we pay??

Haiz...
Let me give you an example
A course you want to take cost $400, all your 350 credits will be used and you will pay $50
A course you want to take cost $200, you will use 180 credits and pay $20
so the 350 is deduct 200 full or deduct 180 credits used?
and wat is the diff bet life science A and life science B? they put there 55 excluding GST. so how do i know the actual cost??

Please READ my post PROPERLY
its 90% of the cost of the course OR $350, whichever is lower.
maximum subsidy is $350.
what is the diff btw life sci a and b
what r the more popular eprep courses? i took up lifescience a&b, occupational health and safety and i am left with 114.60 creds. i am stuck wif what to choose.

No. The course technically will take 100 hours. Of course if you study fast you can finish it much faster, and if you are slow it will take longer (unlikely though).
