Hi lincolnz,
You may wish to take a look at the Job Description here:
http://app.vog.gov.sg/presentation/ApplViewVacancy.aspx?VacId=6604%208435
Cheers.
I viewed the site, (yes, indeed, shocked over the minimum wage)
but will it like sispec standard, except they are dealing with flying?
any idea of how the time table or now the life like inside?
(example for me, I from armor. my time table will be like after BMT, section training, then platoon training and so on...)
i think ACS gets minimal flying allowance or something like that..actually it depends on where you're posted too..if its the choppers like super puma you're on shift duty etc due to res10 res11 status con..chinook, apache have different roles, and also can be posted to fixed wings aircrafts like c130,kc135, fk50 is taken over by ST already..
seriously, i'm in armor for quite some time, RSAF is new to me, I scare of cocking up problem. (don't ask me why I don't join armor, my sarges already set the standard)
if you're scared of cocking up, then any job will be difficult for you..especially as an ACS, you might be posted to be part of those search and rescue team where mistakes can be fatal!
I think about other vocation first. but too bad, can't get in ADA, they need technical ppl.
C3? hmm... no officer material. I heard C3 got lot of grad, is it?

u cock up, u get farked. it's just part and parcel of life.
anyway if u happen to be in a puma sqn, u will feel the sense of achievement when u have saved somebody's life during rescue duties.
just my 2 cents worth.
thanks for the advise, striderz_o405.
I still considering joining RSAF, maybe not aircrew spec.
any idea when are they going to have an open house???
I been to JobFactory one at Suntec earlier but didn't enquire them. many just fill-in the blue booklet on the desk.
