TS, fyi, once u sign on, you maybe posted else where....regulars will be trained in some other unit as well like armour, engineer.....
ADF unit is simple, like normal infantry, but their action are more discreet. there will be selection, if you are signing-on as adf, and yet not selected, they will transfer you to guards.
adf pay is around $1400, yes, sgt, corporal pay.
mmm... i worked with ADF guys before...great guys to be... imho they are like some higher class infantry.. do more than infantry.. they also go for GCC. u may see them in BMTC training, or as BMTC instructors.. but dont really know their main duties..
sadly, most of them sign for ADF becos they dont qualify for the normal PP1 (due to educational level), hence, their rank only goes to CPL or CFC. a handful goes to 3SG. the pay wise.. for a PTE abt $1100 a CPL.. about $1400 lo.... thier contracts lasts 4 years...
even heard a guy signed for 3 times (12 years)! but still CPL or CFC la...
if u can,. sign PP1 lo.. is a minimum 6 years, instead of ADF's 4 years
