OOC: Express Interest to go for Sergeant CQMS Course?

  Hi there i'm new to the forums, I just got a question to ask for those who are currently serving NSF/ reservist recently. Heres my situation in short:

  - Enlisted in Jun 09' as PES B REC, Dip. Holder

  - Went through full BMT + PTP, completed everything

  - POPed on Sept 09' went into OCS

  - Medical condition triggered (which was not supposed to) after 4 days of training, MO took me OOC for safety reasons, downpes me to C9L3 = cannot recourse

  - Stayed in OCS for 4 months total at wingline and HQ doing admin jobs and projects

  - Got posted to supply hub, paper designate my vocation as Supp. Asst. (Comms) aka storeman

  - Went into new unit and waited for "in processing" to complete. DXO told me that i have to wait for them to decide on my new voc. will let me know eventually until then stay and just slack (which i dont like to do frequently)

  - Slack for 1 week still no "proper" posting, heard from my friends in there that as dip holder can be CQMS. I express interest to the Maj there.

  - Sent for attachment to another camp to do admin work (prolly cause i have no assignment to do there atm)

  I need to ask is it a possibility to become CQMS based on my history? Would it be a "confirmed" or "only possible" thing? I want to at least bring a nice rank home from NS before i ORD next year. Dont mind working for it

  U need to go on course 1st lah....but for most likely u only be a CFC.

  I think you need to reread the topic taru...i mention expressed interest to go for the course not the rank

  I understand your plight and desire to excel in army. Unfortunately it is not possible for you to become a CQMS due to your new PES grading. At C3L9, you are exempted from IPPT, field duties and exercises. Given that CQMS course involves some physical activities, I don't think you qualify to enter the course. What you can do now is to go for a re-screening of your PES status and hope that the MO will up PES you.

  ur physical is more important. take care of urself. dont push urself too hard.. u will have ur chance to demostrate ur leadership.
