Guys I need some advice.
I plan to fail my NAPFA so I can go in BMT earlier. Don't want to work so go in better.
I want to know what will I be doing during PTP. Will I be doing only pure physical training or will also include training programes from BMT.
And will my advancement be affected just because I am in PTP?
they will teach u some fundamental stuff from bmt i guess but mostly PT
being a recruit supposed to go PTP but downpes before enlistment to c9l2, i think that it is not worth going for ptp SERIOUSLY unless u like to torture ur body like siao.

PTP is just PT...nothing but PT...

No, it's just a longer PT as compared to enhance, it's 8 more weeks now. Within the 8 weeks they will still include BCCT and probably abit of SoC and all the basic THT for SAR21 and basic first aid skill, 3km route march. HIKI event(PS, dunno how to spell) like range, field camp, sit test will only start after the 8 weeks of PT. In fact a lot of enhance NSF wish that they are in PTP cause they see those PTP got a lot more admin time than them (Used to see the platoon 3&4 in my coy rushing up and down . Which are enhance). But 2 month reduction is always a good thing though. Yes, PTP is more relax as compared to enhance because there is WAY too much time.

Advancement as in going to SISPEC or OCS? No, only your PES (A still have higher chance than B to get into command school), IPPT (minimum a pass), Marksman, SITtest and SoC (fail still can go OCS, they whack you until you pass SoC in OCS) and attendance (If you keep chao keng get status you will have lower chance) will affect those. There are quite a lot of officers and SPECs in my unit are from PTP phase.
My replies are in italic
Thanks for all the reply!
Really appreciate it!

Why not enjoy your time outside?
Unless your parents are forcing you to work, I see no reason for you to go in 2 months earlier. That being said, I fear that you will regret your choice if you really entered 2 months earlier.
actually ptp is not all bad...at least get in earlier get used to the system earlier and more bond time with mates...
