NSman Reservist: ICT Course Defer Application

Im a Nsman who need to go for courses on end of march, but my last day with my company is on the 2nd of Apr, so i request for deferment. But this is what i received. Your application for deferment is Unsuccessful. 3. I have considered your request but regret to inform you that it cannot be granted. Based on MINDEF guidelines, your reasons for deferment do not constitute valid grounds for deferment. To minimise inconvenience caused to you, ample notice for the course was given to you to make alternative arrangements so as to attend the scheduled course. Thus, please attend the training as scheduled. Anyone here can give some advice?Kumsia.

Anyone defer successfully before?i was shocked when i received the reply, seem that it was a copy and paste reply.
They sound as though that i can predict that i was going to lose my job or mindef simply dun bother as it was reply in
"To minimise inconvenience caused to you, ample notice for the course was given to you to make alternative arrangements so as to attend the scheduled course" .

mindef is dead one. So unless it is stated in the Mindef directory, they would not allow u to defer.
The person who have the say is actually ur boss-in-charge in the camp.
At that time, when I make a deferment, my ex-ns boss actually make a personal call at my handphone. I am quite shock that he is one who is supposed to give the final say. Then he say he will give me time-off for it, early release, MC or whatever. JUST because it is difficult to look nice in documentation. You get it?
If u know the boss that is taking care of u give him a personal call.
This deferment is a complex chain reaction, that link from CMPB, HQ, NS unit. Very complicated.
