Use of Vehicle's High Beam Lights: Just? Fair? Reasonable?

  After a long day at work, the last thing you want while driving home is a nut behind you 'high beaming' at you for no aparent reason then overtakes you the first chance he gets. Worse is he slams on the brakes after overtaking!  Man! talk about being fumed by his actions. Confronting him proved to be a mistake. Wearing a singlet that proudly says 'NAVY' on its back, he retorts with why was i hogging the road?!?!?!. Didn't know that there is such a rule on the road that should you road hog, the party behind gets to high beamed you then overtakes you then jam brakes. Just thinking about it sends my pressure sky high. Or is it just because i'm drving a van and he is drving a Wish that gives him the right to do so. Next thing you know the mum goes taking pictures of me and my van for whatever reason she might find useful. sigh.... what a way to end my day....

  You know, I can also wear a shirt with the words 'Special Operations Force' on its back.... does it mean that I'm actually in the SOF?

  there is also another rule that is used on all sg roads... keep left unless overtaking.

  seriously, who follows the speed limit?
  
  i always see vans/lorries going at 90 which is 1.5 times their speed limit on the expressways.
  
  this being observed, cars should go at 135km/h.
  
  yday morning i pass by the TP on lane 3 at 110km/h. the van, on lane 2, however was doing 90 and then panicked and braked quite hard upon seeing the TP. they really spotting the vans/lorries now.
  
  keep left unless overtaking rule still prevails unless you're turning right ahead.
  
  i have nothing against van drivers/lorry drivers. but when they occupy 3 lanes out of 4 lanes of the expressway which the govt just widened to improve overall speeds, there is no difference at all when lanes 2, 3 & 4 are going at 70km/h.
