Hi guys,
I need to ask. Now I am alr C2L2 due to my right knee. Now, my left shoulder has a problem too. Apparently a certain bone/joint does not move and restricts my movement and causes my muscle to swell and goes numb once in a while. I just need to ask will this downgrade me further to L3? Thx guys.

then the camp doctor will let you know...

Yes, please get a strongly worded & detailed memo.
guys, the chances of medical board approving the MO recommendation of up pes , is it high??
or will the medical board sees my condition before approving? i really do not understand why the MO up my pes when i am severely underweight and a minor slip disc.

Since the MO has already explained to you, then it's ok. If you don't think it's fair, then please get a strongly worded specialist memo.
Of course. The Medical Board has to read your medical case statement before making a decision.
Underweight is a standard PES B (by comparsion, obesity is a PES Bp).
Minor slipped disc is within PES B2 to C range, depending on severity and specialist memo.
So it's fairly acceptable.

Thx guys. But for L3, what are the restrictions? (eg. permanently excused outfield, so on and so for). But if I am a commander, will I still get to stay in the unit for will I get posted out? Thx.

L9 then excused outfield if i m not wrong.
Landcode has nothing to do with stay in or stay out.
Landcode only restrict some vocations like combat roles or place of deployability.
L3 L9 can clerk or storeman
L2 can be driver technician and signaller
L1 can be rifleman and combat roles.
But L3 means non-comabatant vocations.
Unless excused stay permanent in by MO.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
Just to check with you guys.. before NS i did a hernia operation and when i went to CMPB for checkup the doctor gave me pes B. very obviously is an admin lapse problem...
very simple...
just make a trip down to your camp medical centre and kindly ask the medic at the counter...
all he needs to do is to key in your nric number to find out from the computer...
without even queuing to see doctor at all...

Like that u ask to see MO for clarifications.
Wait for ur turn outside medical centre.
Or u can resquest to see your Unit Medical officer too.
I lastime check with my unit MO for my pes status.
Dear eac and friends i am an NSman and downgraded to temp E9L9,for hypertension, however i was recently diagnosed with Atherosclerosis should i endorse the memo now or wait until my pes status is going to expire??
And also the MO i seen told me that he will recommend me to defer for my coming ICT,however he did not give me any MC or Memos but just told me that he will send an e-mail to NSHRC,so will i be defer or not as i need to inform my company.Of course i call them but they just told me to wait.
And the weird thing is i receive a MC mail to me to excuse me for IPPT and RT for 1 yr, nothing about ICT but the irony is i am already PES E9L9 which should be excuse to IPPT right????

Just go to see the MO with supporting medical proof.
Hi guys,
I'm a newbie here. I have just gone for my medical checkup at CMPB and was told that my EKG was abnormal - referred to heart specialist & confirmed I have some problems with the heart, on top of the asthma which never left me since childhood days. I am now put in PES E9L9 I am not sure when I will be enlisted yet though.
Anyone did the 4-week BMT for PES E? What do you do for BMT? What vocation will I be posted to? I know it will be clerical but where can I be posted to? I heard that band is impossible because there is marching involved :(
Appreciate some light on this. Thanks!

for more info on BMT, see this - www.sgforums.com/forums/1390/topics/137692
the new 4-week BMT programme will be conducted for PES E recruits. This programme will focus on, vocational training as well as National Education, SAF core values, regimentation and discipline.
usually only clerical vocation is available for PES E and you can be posted to any one of the camps and bases since all of them each has an office for clerks to work.

Don't worry, PES E9L9 is relaxing BMT and your vocations after your 4 week BMT will be either storeman or clerk.
hi there eac (and friends)
following my previous queries, i have went to see a pyschiatry/sleep problem specialist and he wrote for a memo stating my sleepwalking problem and that i be excused from fieldcamp and stay-in. i am currently b2l2 for an unrelated injury. what would be the likely cause of action? will i get downpessed or just a excuse stayin and field camp?
would like a rough idea before i go to cmpb as im really caught up this few weeks, thanks.
