HI Lonkey you say if One got a temp Pes C2 for while. One will undergo the Pes C BMT. When One upgraded to Pes B after the temp Pes expired. One will need to undergo the Pes A/B BMT again.
I was told once you done Pes A/B or C BMT and pass you will not ask to redo BMT again. Let say I enlist as Pes C temp 6 month and I done and pass my Pes C BMT, 6 month later I up pes to A or B I don't think I will need to go back to do Pes A or B BMT all over again, do corect me if I'm wrong.

Whatever it is, just go get the hospital specialist memos and submit whatever supporting documents you have on hand.

1) Temporary excuse of RMJ and carrying heavy loads.
2) Yes, it's standard for ICT.
Whatever it is, just bring along the MC.
hi eac... thanks for response...
I asked my elder brother... he told to me that most probably I will only be putting on vest and slack.... helping out with ration etc.... but he MR almost 10 years.... so better for me to confirm....
err... so meaning I still have to cheong sua ar?

usually is the same as when you report sick during NSF time and gotten Att B status, which means still fit for light duties.
and for your info, FBO is then considered heavy loads but SBO is not.
thus technically speaking, in worst case scenario, you may still have to cheong sua a bit in SBO mode (helmet, SBO and rifle) in activities such as route marches since excuse RMJ doesn't excuse walking, so to say. also, the remaining field pack can be loaded onto the tonner or whatever vehicle supporting the field exercises, if needed.
of course, if you know how to negotiable with your in-charge who might be easy-going enough to close one eye and let u be in "vest and slack activities" such as sai-kang stuff like help out with rations, water points, carry stores...etc which are grouped under the 'fit for light duties' activities, which is the same as report sick MC of Att B status.

Of course. Can. Book your eye specialist now, for an eye check up.
Ask for a long term attend C or further down Pes.
Hi MO,
i am alrdy orded...recently i got a memo from my physiotherapist to recommend that i excuse from running while undergoing physiotherapy due to persist ankle pain(achilles heel) and knee pain from training from ippt.
I am having a appt with SAF MO to endorse my memo this coming week. Do you think this physiotherapist MEMO is sufficient to allow MO to excuse me temporarily from running for this year ippt windows? I will only be seeing my specialist this end of year, so i can't get the memo from the specialist before seeing MO. Is physiotherapist MEMO tanamount to specialist memo?

Whatever it is, just submit whatever supporting documents such as the memo to the camp MO will do.

thks for ur quick reply. So the MO will recognised physiotherapist opinions written in the MEMO or i ned waste more $$ to get a immediate specialist memo? this is the only supporting docs i hav.
see 1st...
if camp doctor is ok with the physiotherapist memo, then good for you.
if camp doctor wants the specialist memo, then you got to spend money to get it lor...
so take a wait and see approach... action to act accordingly to situation.
Hi doc, i've been diagnosed with 5th metatarsal fracture, is this condition possible to down pes? My whole foot get swollen after standing for long and walking almost impossible without crutches.
Thanks so much! but just to double check, its possible to down to pes f like this right?

It's all depends on what's on the specialist memo and in reference to the MO's PES Directive.
Therefore, it's still whatever it is, just submit whatever supporting documents to the camp MO.

And all the way from then till now, there is no scheduled for medical review and also ask me to take ippt at all but i already went for 3times of ICT already.
Suddenly last week receive sms from mindef asking me to go for medical review end of this month at my base. Already book appointment with specialist for review of my ankle problem. THanks for the advice.
With refer to the above post, my pes review is originally at 31st aug 2011 but it clashes with my medical appointment with specialist, so I requested to change it to 8 Sep 2011 and is approved already, I even got the mindef notification.
But last night I received another notification telling me the pes review on 8th Sep 2011 is cancelled .. Need advice on what is going on and what I need to do?

If even the official reply is to wait for further notice, do you think how possible for we here to know when we don't work at CMPB to access any data?

Q1 What if I am injured or medically unfit to take my non-ICT IPPT during my qualifying window?
It
is important that you seek medical treatment on your own should you be
injured or is medically unfit. The medical certificate that your doctor
issued to you is recognised as valid medical excuse. However, you can
only be exempted from the annual IPPT if you have a 6 months
consecutive or 9 months cumulative of valid medical excuse within the
same IPPT qualifying window. You are advised to contact your NS Unit to
request for a medical review if you have more than 3 months of medical
excuse for a particular injury that prevents you from taking your IPPT.
Q2 What if my 6 months consecutive or 9 months cumulative medical excuse straddle across two IPPT qualifying windows?
You
would be dealt with as an 'IPPT Defaulter' in the 1st qualifying
window. Hence it is strongly encouraged that you should book your IPPT
immediately after your qualifying window has started.
