Hi eac,
In this case do you mean that the Camp MO can amend the SAF Medical Downgrade Certificate to include specifics like these?
Thanks!

I suspect that I have either low thyroid problem or high thyroid problem which led me to being feeling lethargic or feeling anxious. Can I request NS portal officer to recommend an endocrinist to solve my problem? What is the PES status can I get?
Hi guys and eac,
I ORDed a few years back with PES C9L2 due to a slipped disc. However, since then I've been diagnosed and operated upon due to a cataract which inexplicably developed and they also found a detached retina in the same eye. I underwent another surgery, this time a scleral buckle with no vitrectomy or gas bubble done for the retinal detachment.
My other eye is completely fine though, though it's myopic.
I'm just wondering, since I'm already downgraded, would this new medical development affect my PES any further? I don't know what PES I'm likely to get because of this problem. I requested a letter from the specialist to give to my camp MO. Just wondering if it's wise to open it up to see what it says. It's currently sealed. Just thought I could make a few copies of it in case the medics lose the leter or something.
Also, I've heard that PES E people have to serve 2 ICT cycles. Is this true?

As PES is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PULHHEEMS, this might be within PES E range.
If you wish to make a photocopy, just open the letter carefully and re-seal it just as the same way it should had.

Remember, as always in layman term, this rule applies: "No Specialist Memo, No Talk".
Don't suspect, since no proof equals to no real true medical evidence. Thus, no solid scienific background backup basis at all.
Thanks a lot, eac!
hi everyone,

Eczema is very obvious, it is on the skin. The MO just see you naked (LOL) you will be able to give the appropriate Pes status. There are people who are Pes E, but one of friend is Pes B, and he is an officer. So it varies.

Since the MO has already decided to forward your case statement for Medical Board, it's certainly do as deem required.

I’ve gone through two eye operations to seal tiny holes in the retina in my left eye because of a risk of retina detachment. I go for regular checkups at the Singapore national eye centre. I also have a history of asthma. What PES do you guys think I’ll be given?
Most of the retina detachment cases I encounter will be Pes E....so is that what u want?
You should be getting a desk-bound job since physical activities might aggravate your condition.
