  Event Description:
  This May, the Republic of Singapore Navy plays host to an Open House at Changi Naval Base.

  Highlights for the event:
  Climb onboard the formidable Frigate, the gigantic Landing Ship Tank and the nimble Patrol Vessel.
  Get up close and personal with Harpoon missiles, torpedoes and naval guns.
  Speed in ships on the open sea or relax on duck tours.
  Watch the Naval Divers in an exciting ship-storming display.

  Programmes:

  Naval Sea Displays
  Don't miss the exciting Naval Displays at these times. Grab a seat at the spectator stand or a spot along the North Wharf and East Pier.

  22 May: 10am and 3.30pm
  23 May: 11.30am and 3.30pm

  Ship Cruises
  Our Missile Corvette, Patrol Vessels and Mine Countermeasure Vessel open their doors at these times. Ballot for a ticket at any of the information booths. Recipients of the coveted tickets will be informed by their mobile phone about an hour before the start of each cruise. Do report to the ticket counter at the East Pier at least half an hour before cruise departure.

  Guided Tour of Frigate
  You can find out more about the Frigate and life on board from our sailors at these times. Ballot for a guided tour at any of the information booths.

  Workshops
  Learn the skills of a sailor at the 'Navy People tent'. Come and find out how to tie some naval knots, make a pipe on the Bosun call, communicate with the Morse code, or recognise the maritime signal flags. There is also Unarmed Combat Demonstration by our Sea Marshals.

  Getting There:
  Admission to the Navy Open House is free.

  Entry will be strictly via the free shuttle bus only. The shuttle bus operates daily from Singapore Expo Hall 1 from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

  Visitors are advised to take public transportation to Singapore Expo. If you prefer to drive, you are advised to park at Singapore Expo as vehicles (including taxis) will not be allowed beyond the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal junction without a valid pass.
