Hi, i just came out of confinement week.
Right now im going through PTP + BMT which is 17weeks long.
Because it is stated that i have "failed my NAPFA" so i have to go through a physical training phase for 8weeks more compared to e normal PES A/B BMT.
I took my NAPFA on the May 2009 last year and i got a silver.
i then received my Enlistment letter on the April 2010 stating that i have to go through 17weeks of BMT + PTP., i have jus enlisted two weeks ago.
I then when to check with MINDEF why am i going through 17weeks of BMT instead of the normal BMT 9weeks. & they then said that my napfa was only valid for 1 year.
Is there absolutely no way i can get out of 17week BMT? Despite the fact that i have gotten 2 silver medals during school years (2008&2009).
Please do advice.
Thank you

Absolutely not possible. NAPFA results have an expiry date.
Before you question the wisdom of that, consider this anecdote: I know of people who transformed from stick insects to blue whales in the space of one year.
Bottom line is, your fitness level from more than one year ago need not accurately reflect your current fitness level.
-double post-
Nothing for u to do now. Just enlist with physical training phase. No choice.
