I just got a small bottle of kilat from E-mart together with neutral kiwi, black ones and 2 orange cloths.
Kilat looks shiny but its super sticky also, its ok to rub it in with the orange cloth but buffing it while sticky makes the cloth fibres stick to the boot, super irritating.
Anyone knows how to use kilat?
Dunno, stopped using kiwi when reservist started. Just use the brush to keep clean in camp, and a thin layer of kiwi after finish in camp for long storage.
use Kiwi la
Just use kiwi lah.
Brush it on, then rub it off. Guaranteed to shine.
This is not the army of old where your reflection has to be seen. Just make your boots capable of reflecting light, and that's good enough already.

Reflect light for what? Thats so untactical.

Well, I didn't say it was tactically smart.
But that was the standard for parades in my time.
A simple kiwi and brush, followed by a bit of rubbing with a rag should make it gleam.
