Anyone doing their reservist and manage to downgrade because of high blood pressure?
I have heard some cases where they are able to get a downgrade while some do not.

My frenz enlist NS PES E high blood pressure one leh.
depends on how well your blood pressure....and also are you on any medication.
For my case ,My reservist Unit is combat, chiong sua rifilemen.
I'm taking Angizaar and Adalat after taking them is about 150+
I'm undergoing further check ups by the NUH specialist.
Actually My boss wanted to defer my ICT for work purposes but since he know my medical condition he want me to downgrade instead to save the hassle.
Defering ICT for work purposes is quite difficult.
But my ex colleague(much more older than me) have hyper tension, show the MO specialist letter, the MO just ask him to go for the ICT,but he is in different unit.

Well does your colleague take medication? But from your case, most like you'll be downgraded.
Of course,he also went to a govt hospital, get a specialist letter but the MO just ask him go for the ICT since it only 2 weeks .

Depending his vocation and how many ICTs he attended, also the serviceman himself, does he think he can make it?

It is written in the NS handbook that it is your responsibility to inform the SAF about your medical conditions. So it is important to do your administration.
Whether the MO is interested to downgrade is not your concern. Rarer, you should do your part and make sure the MO have keyed the information into the system.
Touch wood! if anything goes wrong, "who knows, the bad things always comes together", if you get stroke during your ICT, you will not get compensated. $$$$.
The insurance that you buy most likely does not cover military operations. Please take note.
Good point,i will arrange for a medical review after all my the remaining check ups.
