NDP: Peaked Caps & Berets for Parades / Ceremonies

  During NDP, why some people where peaked caps, while some people where only berets? And why do some peaked caps have golden stripe?

  Only COMMANDOS, ARMOUR and GUARDS will wear beret when in No1 dress.

  So for the guard of honours at NDP, COmmandos will wear their own beret while the other services rsaf, rsn, spf will wear peak cap.

  If I am not wrong, LTC and above there is some golden stripe..

  MAJ and LTC has one golf strip on the peak cap. Colonel has laurels on the peak cap. BG and RADM onwards have 2 strips of laurels on the peak cap.

  Gold stripes are for Officers, Warrant Officers and Mofficers.
