Can i ask if the compass test for RSAF Pilot and WSO pilot the same?
Around 3 mths ago i am ask to take the compass test for RSAF pilot and passed but during the pilot selection board i failed.
So today i received a call from RSAF asking me if i am interested for WSO pilot vocation, and he ask me to go for a compass test for WSO pilot vocation.
So can anyone around enlighten me if the compass test are the same for both the vocation? and if its the same am i able to exempt myself for it since i have pass before?
Thanks.

dont be a wso, thats all the advice i can give you.
u didnt get pass the interview? yeah wso short for? im applying for pilot vocation as well, i waiting for interview next.
It is either pilot or WSO, in this case WSO (fighter). No such thing as WSO pilot.
WSO is neither pilot nor co-pilot although there are some who like to think otherwise.
WSO = Weapons Specialist Officer
WSO (pronounced as wee-zo) Fighters are those who sit behind the fighter pilots in the cockpit e.g. on board the F-15 or the Apache. You're manning the machine's missiles / mini-gun.
Try to prepare yourself well for the interview. It's one of the most critical filtering layer. Ask around among your friends and those before you what they were asked.
Correction to last... only tandem seat fighters require WSO(FTR) such as F-16D and F15. Both aircrew in the Apache are pilots.
WSO(FTR) are trained in navigation and operation of aircraft systems. Simply put, they are to do what the pilot is not doing at that point in time, to lighten the workload...
The interview is relatively simple. They will ask general questions like why you sign up for this; why do you want to be a pilot etc.
Word of advice.. Do not say you sign up so that you are able to repay Singapore etc etc... They have been through countless interviews and experiences. They will know what is wayang...
