I am not an expert in techniques for standing broad jump but the muscles involved are mostly the quadriceps, glutes and calves.
You can try the following basic exercises:
1. Full Squats
2. Machine Leg Press
3. Standing Calf Raises
Do read up on the correct techniques on executing these exercises.
Cheers
Does training biceps help in pullup/chin up? I am thinking of using dumbells to train biceps.

Pull up is a bodyweight compound movement that requires muscles such as lats, biceps, forearms.
You can do biceps curl with barbell or dumbbells to train your biceps.
The lats is the major muscle used in pull - ups.

U seemed knowledgable on Gyming. You are Gym Instructor?
No need to be a gym instructor to know all these
You keep going gym, you see ppl do the same routine, you more or less know which part of the body they are training
